We are so glad you can join us in this adventure which started over ten years ago, making Midhope Castle one of the most visited Outlander filming locations and the heart of Outlander in Scotland.

Midhope Castle is changing from one of our family farms into an fantastic and safe place for Outlander fans to visit, but we are making the change slowly in the hope we can retain the magic that is "Lallybroch".

We are part of the wider Hopetoun Estate and we always recommend you visit our "big hoose" HOPETOUN HOUSE. It is around a fifteen minute drive from here and has featured extensively in many Outlander episodes over the years.
Getting ready for filming!
It takes a lot of work to prepare the driveway for filming. Below the props crew is even adding leafs to make it look like autumn. They will have to pick them all up once filming is done!
