Fergus, the Redcoats are after you

The area and woods around here are where Fergus is followed by a pair of Redcoats. The filming started at Midhope Castle and follows the old drover road through the woodland behind the castle.

At the top of the hill behind you, is the track and wooded area the Redcoats are and Jamie (Red Jamie) watches as Fregus is chased along the rivers edge.

Fregus finally is caught at the foot of the hill (right here) when two more Redcoats on horseback make their way along the river.

It is here Fergus has his hand "removed" and Jamie takes him back to the safety of Lallybroch.
