Visit Midhope Castle
We are open to visitors each day from 9.00am to 5.00pm
(the last time of entry is 4.30pm)
We are located in open countryside on the Hopetoun Estate, Abercorn, West Lothian and can be accessed by car from the A904 South Queensferry to Bo'ness road.
Please use the first car park on the castle drive, it's then a short walk to the castle gate.
It's free to take photographs from the gate but should you wish to enter the castle grounds there is a charge for tickets which can be purchased on this website or on the castle gate.
Our recommended way to visit would be on an organised day tour, with your own transport or the Lallybroch Link (below). Please do not use Uber or a taxi service.
