Lallybroch Courtyard 1700's
BTS Season 7 Lallybroch all set to go! Can you spot the camera?
BTS, setting up the Lallybroch Courtyard, the attention to detail is awesome.
In this section, we have the Lallybroch courtyard made up as in the 1700's.
We see Jamie and Claire in season one, two, three and seven, while Briana, Roger and Buck are there in season seven (and four for Briana).
To set up the courtyard, the wall next to the archway is repaired and stables and sheds are added. The props and greens teams also install flowerbed and windows to bring back the building to the 18th century. When you step inside you will see some of the props used on set!

Lallybroch in the 1960's and early 1980's
After Claire's visit to a dilapidated Lallybroch in 1968, we see it again in the late 1970's early 1980's when Roger and Briana return and make it their family home.
The production team installed the mobile home and some details around the courtyard show that times have changed.

The Lallybroch steps
Our iconic steps! Some of the most amazingly moving scenes take place right here.
The steps have changed a few times over the years since we first saw them. Did you know that sometimes there are five steps and sometimes there are seven (rewatch and count!)?
As you can see, following repairs to the real house in 1988, the steps just did not look old enough and were made to look older!
